About Zero Defect Design

Zero Defect Design is a unique interactive media studio located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Initially founded in 1997 to provide services for non-profits and arts organizations, we now cater to all industries, with a concentration in the arts, education, and health sciences. Today our client list includes major health care systems, Ivy League universities, an NFL team, and world-class performing arts venues and museums — but true to our founding mission, we remain affordable to small non-profits and local art education programs.

When dealing with people, our approach is to listen carefully to the organizations we work with, to understand their needs, to achieve their goals and exceed their expectations. Our process is as transparent as possible. We always seek the best solution for the unique needs of each organization and each project.

When dealing with technology, our philosophy is to use the most open, widely-accepted industry standards, to provide the greatest compatibility and accessibility for the site today and to ensure the best future support for the project and the technologies it employs.

Thomas Anthony, Principal / Creative Director

Zero Defect Design features the design work of Thomas Anthony, founder and creative director. Thomas has been recognized for his talent in creating sites that make no compromises in being both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly. His work has been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Web Publisher, USA Today, Yahoo! Internet Life, and other local and national publications. His special understanding of the needs of nonprofit organizations comes from his work as a fundraiser for the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He later became the museum's first website designer and created several award-winning online exhibitions. Thomas is a native of the Ottawa, Ontario region, and a graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music.
